Deklyn Bain who trains at the Dumbarton club recently succeeded in gaining his black belt in Kickboxing, this makes him WOSKF’s first junior black belt. Deklyn has always shown a natural ability in martial arts but it is his enthusiasm and determination which has seen him progress through the grades. Deklyn has a great attitude towards training and has great discipline. He also has a song for every occasion the only complaint I have about this is I wish he would get better taste in music as I end up singing it for the rest of the week!! Deklyn’s ability and determination has not gone unnoticed and head instructor Andy McCracken has invited Deklyn to train in the adult Kung Fu class.
Well done on this great achievement Deklyn!!!

Guys whats happening this year?
What are we doing to raise funds this year? lets face it whats the point in doing it one year and no the other. Ok fair enough no everyone can do the 10K this year
But surley some of us can and im sure there are other means to raising funds.
We all no that their is a club fund but dont you think that we should at least double that or even treble it before we start wanting it spent.
having a club fund dosent mean that beacause there is a couple of bob in it, that
there is that reason to spend it There and then.
This is not a personel thing its reality and we need to get ourelves out and
do our part.
